What do you like the most about DYRT?
I love the fact that we are given the opportunity to evangelize to our own community through DYRT retreats. We are able to share our faith and our love for Christ with the youth in a very tangible and personal way. “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature,” Jesus said in Mark 16:15. Well through DYRT- we are able to start doing that right now, in the world that surrounds us. From here, we prepare ourselves to continue to reach to the rest of the world, wherever that may be. DYRT is a community that radiates love, potentially impacting everyone that it encounters.
I oversee DYRT meetings and activities, making sure that we are meeting our goals and fulfilling the mission we have been given.
I’m a silly, sarcastic, awkward, goal-oriented 5’1” girl (I don’t know why I just told you my height but there it is). I love hanging out with my family & friends, making them laugh is my greatest joy even if it means being a little ridiculous sometimes. Jesus, Mother Mary, and green chicken enchiladas are my favorite. In that particular order.
las noches, soy Batman!
