Dear Raider Catholic Supporters, 

Charity may be a very short word, but with its tremendous meaning of pure love, it sums up man's entire relation to God and to his neighbor. -- St Aelred of Rievaulx

It is with excitement that we announce a matching gift campaign for fiscal year 2022-23! A generous donor has committed to matching any new donations received from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 up to $150,000! All donations received will help with the operational costs of Raider Catholic and the John Saleh Catholic Student Center. The matching gift will go toward the Walter B. Mantooth Endowment Fund which was established in Spring of 2022 with an initial $50,000 donation from the Mantooth Family in his honor. This means that in the next year Raider Catholic has the opportunity to not only satisfy the immediate needs of the ministry, but forge ahead towards a successful future. You can be part of this opportunity! By making a new donation to Raider Catholic today, you can ensure that our mission to form Preachers of the Gospel at Texas Tech University lives on for many years to come. 

There are many ways you can be part of this match:

1. You can become a new member of our Preacher's Circle! Our Preacher's Circle is our monthly giving society, a source of stability for us to help satisfy our mission. If you sign up for a monthly gift today, your donation will be matched for each month you give throughout the fiscal year (July 1-June 30). This means, if you begin your monthly donation in July, your donation will be matched for twelve months! If you begin your donation in September, your donation will be matched for nine months. And so on and so forth!
2. If you are already a member of our Preacher's Circle, an increase in your donation in the next fiscal year will be matched for each month you give throughout the year. This means, if you are currently giving $25 a month and you increase your monthly donation to $50 a month, the $25 increase will be matched for the remaining months in the fiscal year. 
3. If you graduated in 2019-2022, you can sign up for a monthly Senior Class Gift! Similar to the Preacher's Circle, your donation will be matched for each month you give throughout the fiscal year!
4. If you purchase a table or ticket for Raider Promise in 2022, your donation will be matched! If you are a winning bidder at our silent auction for Raider Promise, those donations will also be matched!
5. If you donate to Raider Catholic this Giving Tuesday, not only will that donation be matched by a generous donor, but a percentage of our overall donations will be matched by the Community Foundation of West Texas, just as in years past! This means double the match this Giving Tuesday!
6. Any one-time donations received this year will be matched! One-time donations include checks received, singular online gifts, end of year donations, and sponsorships for Raider Catholic events such as the Leadership Formation Retreat, Encounter, Dinner and a Rosary, and the Senior Dinner!
7. Donations received from the purchase of a brick or tile to be installed at the John Saleh Catholic Student Center will be matched!
8. Any grants received by Raider Catholic in the next fiscal year will be matched! This includes supporter nominated grants! So if you know of a grant opportunity for Raider Catholic, please let us know or feel free to apply on your own!

This is a dollar for dollar match. In this next fiscal year, your donation will go further than it ever has before in creating a "home away from home" here at Raider Catholic. Together, we can reach our goal of raising $150,000, resulting in $300,000 to uplift our ministry! We are so thankful for your support!
