John Saleh was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth's University Parish. During his lifetime he was inspired about the vibrancy the students brought to St. Elizabeth's and their commitment to pursue faith during their pivotal college years. Mr. Saleh Lubbock passed away May 14, 2013, in Lubbock, Texas. Wanting to impact the lives of our students beyond his years, Mr. Saleh very generously made a posthumous donation of five million dollar to construct a new catholic student center for the students of Texas Tech University. Along with a succesful capital campaign, on May 6, 2018 the John Saleh Catholic Student Center, named in honor of Mr. Saleh, was dedicated by Bishop Coerver of Lubbock.
