Hospitality Ministry is intended to help new and current members of St. Elizabeth University Parish to feel welcome and understand all things that the parish can provide for them. This includes Parish Ministries, Catholic Student Association, Chi Rho, Diocesan Youth Retreat Team, Knights of Columbus Council #14426, Raider Awakening, Women of Faith, and many other organizations and events that are sponsored by the parish.
The Hospitality Ministry will serve as a group of friendly faces for people as they enter into our parish community. The Hospitality Ministers will become guides to those who are not fully informed of parish activities but would like to be introduced to them. These ministers will also be "go-to-people" to whom anyone may ask questions about the parish with most certainly that they will be able to answer truthfully.
The Hospitality Ministers are easier to find in certain situations. After Sunday Mass at St. Elizabeth University Parish you need to look for a person who is well-dressed and wearing a nametag that identifies them. You may also see them outside of the church grounds. An example about this can be on campus or at a grocery store; in this case, they will be wearing a Catholic t-shirt with their nametag. If you need to reach out to anyone and have not seen any minister, feel free to use the form below.
You will need to attend one of the Hospitality Minister trainings. More information will be posted here as it becomes available. It is highly probable that we will have a second training for the Fall 2016 semester, so be on the lookout! You need to have been involved in any of the ministries or be a member of the parish for at least one complete semester.
