Who is your patron saint, and why?:
St. Therese of Lisieux, because I'm pretty sure my mum strongly suggested her first to me. However, over the years I've learned to truly appreciate her "little way"—that is, how we can love Jesus in the simplicity of our everyday life despite our different paths.
What makes your experience as a Catholic Medical Student unique?
Being a Catholic medical student, I get to support pro-life and morally sound views in our discussions on medical ethics. I also get to be "that person" who wears this cool Miraculous Medal and bracelet rosary that gets some students curious!
More about me:
I love cooking Nigerian Igbo foods (goat meat peppersoup)! I would love to be an OB/GYN, which would be a particularly fun specialty for me as a Catholic doctor.
